In San Antonio, we are filled to the brim with older homes that hold a ton of character! But sometimes these older homes (like mine, built in 1960) have much smaller rooms than the modern day house.
One of the things I LOVE about styling an older home is getting creative with how to maximize the space. Our master bedroom is not the size of a true master but we still wanted to squeeze a King bed.
With that squeeze came the need to get creative about our bedside tables as the ones we already owned did not fit. My husband and I had just finished setting up our bar in the dining space using floating shelves and loved them so much that we went back to Hobby Lobby to pick up two more small ones that we could utilize as our bedside tables (pictured below).
